Dr. Koocher is also immediate past president of the American Psychological Association and has published hundreds of articles and book chapters in ethics, pediatric child psychology, and children with chronic illness. This is a very rare opportunity to meet and talk with a leader in our profession. A count of students who can attend will be taken about a week before his visit and at that time, several articles written by Dr. Koocher recently will be circulated so that students may be familiar with his recent work. Comments: Comments Off CPSA Counseling Psychology Colloquium/Poster Session 11/18/2009 & 12/4/2009 It’s that time of the year again for our annual counseling psychology colloquium! Attached file is the guideline and proposal forms for your poster session submission. This year, we will have the colloquium on 2 dates (11/18 and 12/4). However the deadline is the same (11/6). Make sure to indicate which date you want to present your poster on your proposal form. Although this colloquium is a requirement for the 2nd year cohort to present their publishable papers, all students are encourage to present at this student-friendly colloquium. This is a great place to get feedback from your colleagues and faculty members. It is also a great place to practice your presentation before going off to the national conferences. For those of you who are not planning to present, please mark the dates on your calender and prepare to participate in the colloquium. Your colleague would appreciate your support and feedback. Thanks, Jenny October 30, 2009 Categories: Announcements . Tags: colloquium, conference, poster session . Author: ugacpsa . Comments: Comments Off
